Flat Plate Converter allows players to mount many Japanese joysticks into an American or European arcade cabinet's control panel, and likewise various American or European joysticks into a Japanese arcade cabinet's control panel.
One of the most common issues a customer can have when it comes to mounting a joystick is trying to find the correct mounting plate that has suitable mounting holes that will fit an existing control panel. The flat plate converter overcomes some of these issues by having numerous holes pre-drilled on the mounting plate, so is compatible with many American, European and Japanese joysticks.
